DUNEDIN, Last Night. At a meeting yesterday of empioyers ,of wharf labour every member expressied a desire to dissociate himseif from ;the gpinion published regarding locai iworkers. While the position was not as jatisfactory as eould be desired, it wasagreed that the wprk was carried out at this port in a manner not excelied, if equalled, at any other port in New Zealand. It was st&ted that it was not a faet that good workers were outnnmbersd by thoge desirous of working as little as possible.
