W m m A remand until Wednesday r next was granted, on the police a'pplication, when Bobert William Hines appeared in the Hastings Court this' morning, charged with 'attenlpting to ■ obtain goods from F. W. Daines to the value of £12 10/6 by means of a valueless cheque. Detective H. Campin appeared foir the police, and asked for a rem'and, asfurther invegtigations were- to / ; be, made, this being granted -by Mr,;A; J. G, Ennciman, J.P.-, -who - was on the Bench. . : .» , John James, alias Cleary, also, appeared . in the Court thjs- morning, charged with.. being an idle !and ,disorderly person in that he Had insuffl-. cirnt lawful. means .of support,. and he was also reinanded to, appear" next Wednesday, ,!..... Both nien were arrested yesterday.
