NAPIER DEFENCE CLUB
Handicaps for Saturday Members of the Napier Defence Rifle Club will fire on Saturday the postponed optional sweepstake closing shoot for the season. Seven shots and two optional sighters will be fired at 300, 500 and 600 yards, with standards of 33, 34 and 33 respectively. Owing to the fact that Bifleman J, T. Hawkins and Riflemen R. Mundy have tied for the handicap cup, they will fire on Saturday to decide the holder of the trophy. Handicaps are as follows: — S.g.M. J. H. Kearney, Rflm. L. Proffitt, F. H. James, S. H. Cliristie, Hole 5, 5, 5. A fuli muster of members is requested. Cars leave Clive Square at 1.15 p.m. eharp, and the draw for ordef of shooting will take plaCe at 1.45 p.m.
