6d Per Case Suggested NELSON, Last Night. Bepresent&tions have been made to •the Minister of Agriculture, Hon. W. [Lee Martin, who is visiting the Nelson i district, regarding the distribution of •the £41,000 allocated by the Governiment to assist fruit-growers who sell 'their fruit on the local market. The • deputationj which represented local | growers, suggested the £40,000 should be distributed on a flat basis .of 6d per case on all fruit sold locally. The Minister said he would go into the matter with his departmental (officers and give the request every consideration.
