Probable Adoption , Next Year NELSON, Last -Night. "It is with gratilicationf tliat I state' ithe overseas marketing of New Zealand' ^produce is workifig extremely satisf?.--tonly," said Hon. W. Lee Martin at a civie reception. ' 'There "is no doubt in my niind, in spite 6f priticisms .which have been offered from various sourees,; (that, if the farmers were given a vote" on whether the Government guaraittee .system chauld remain or not, there Would be no doubt they would prefer to keep it. "Whatever Government comes in in futuxe the guaranteed price will be rc$ained though it might be aitered a little. It has been a God-send so f ar as small farmers are concerned, and I tm sure the foundation which has been Jaid will be permanent so far as New Zealand is concerned. "The Government is now investigating the fruit industry and it is more fchan likely fruit will be under a similar guarantee system next year."
