Card Party and End of Tennis Season Recently a card party was held in the Haumoana Hall in aid of tbe Tennis Club. There was a very good attendance, and th© club's funds benefitted considerably. Tbe results were as follow: — Ladies, Mrs Lowe .1, Miss P. Hale »2; consolation, Miss Thomson; gentlemen, Mr Lister 1, Mr Berch 2 ; consolation, Mr Maclntyre. Mysterious parcels were won by Nos 83 and 43. Supper was provided, after wbicb dancing was enjoyed. Tennis Season Over. The final of tlie tennis for the season was played during the week-end. Mrs Moore was successful in winning tbe ladies' championship, with Mrs Lowe runner-up. Mr Lowe was successful in the ,men's section, with Mr Keong runner-up. This tournament concluded a most successful season for the Haumoana Tennis Club.
