Canterbury Institutions Benefit MR. R. CLARK'S WILL

Tbe incomo from aboufc £20,500 is to be applied in perpetuity to cburch organisations and charities in Canterbury under tbe will of Mr. Kobert Clark, of Ashburton, whose death occurred ear^y tbis montb, Subjoct to certain prior interests the will provides that the income from £2500 to be known as tbe 'Ada Mary Clark Trust Fund is to be ■paid in perpetuity, one fourtb each to 'tbe following: Tne vicar of St. Stephen's Anglicbn Cburch, Ashburton, for Auglican foreign missiojis; St,, Saviour :s Trust Board, Christchurch, for orphanage purposesj St. Stephen's Anglican Cburch, Ashburton, for tbo general purposes tbereof. Tbe income from tbe aet residue of the estate (estimated at £18,000) to ba known as thq "Bo'bert Clark Trust Fund," iB to be applied in perpetuity for or towards aspisting such poor and ineody persons irrespective of raee, icreed, class or colour in the provincial district pf Canterbury or such institutions established in tbe said provincial district for the relief, maintenance and assistance of the poor and npedy persons in such manner as a board to be .constituted for the purpose shali direct. iThe board will consist of tbe Public jTrustee or his nominee, the Mayor for the timo being of the borough of Ash-. .burton, the vicar for the time being of" |8t.
