(Received 20, 11.25 a.m.) LONDON, April 19. Despite the early hour of their arrival, a large crowd welcomed the New Zealand Coronation contingent at Tilbury, the khaki uniform and redbanded hat reviving wartime memories, The disembarkation proceeded without a hitch, and all were .ready for the special train for London. The only Maori member had a special j welcome from three Maoris, who shoutod greetinga as he stood in the ranks. Miss Mitehell and Miss Adanis, of the New Zealand Army nursing serviees, were surrounded by friends. They will be billeted at St. Charies Hospital, Ladbrooks Grove. The New Zealad troops had possibly a more demonstrative welcome than the Australians as they proceeded through the City. The excitement reached its peak when a dense mass of loyal New Zealandere surged on the road outside New Zealand House, disorganising traffic and leaving only a small lane for the marching troops. Mr W. J. Jordan's appearance on the balcony brought the enthusiasm to a climax. The troops lunched at Wellington Barracks and marched to Waterloo station, where they entrained for Pirbrigbt.
