DEATH IN HOSPITAL

Hastings Woman Under Anaesthetic An inqulry into the death of Franee*.' Adams, a married woman, aged 61, who resided at 405 Lyndon road, Hastings,, was ppened at the Napier Public Hospital this morning. Mrs Adams died at 4.15 yesterday afternoon while under an anaesthetic. The medical superintendent of tho Napier Hospital, Dr. J. J. Foley, gave evidence of identification. He said the deceased was haying an operation when she died of acute heart failure under a general anaesthetic. The coroner, Mr J. Miller, S.M., then adjourned the inquest until a day next week, yet to be fixed.
