ESPIONAGE PLOT

Sabotage Intended in Madrid (Beeeived 19, 8.45 a.m.) MADBID, April 17. The Councillor for Public Order announces the arrest of fifty-three persons following the discovery of an espionage organisation. The documents aeized contained the names of the congpirators, passwords describing aets of eabotage contemplated when the rebels were closer to the city, and also a plot to close house doors throughout the city and guard the entrances, enabling a mnssaere of Bepublicans. Meanwhile the conspirators were heliographing to the rebels movements of loyalist troope. The organisation included disguiseil priests, supplied with money from Ifaly.
