i Wife Critically Wounded Through Error (Received 19, 8.45 a.m.) I SANTA CBUZ, CalifdrMa^ IprB 18. 1 j Allan Boggs, aged 52, a retired army imajor, re.turning home in the early : imorning, found a note that hui wiff - !had gone to spend the night with a !friend. Boggs f earing that she was. unjfaithful, took a revolver, forced hit •way into the friend's house, whare aa found his wife in a bedroom occupying iona bed and in the other bed what uppeared to be a man's form. He shot and critically wounded his wife but ! their own twelve-year-old son Donny ran screaming from, the other bed. Boggs then unsuceessfully atteinpted fuicide.
