McClurg Cup Round The first qualifying round for the McClurg Cup was played on Saturday, the winner being L. L. Forrest with a net 66. The A grade competition, contested at the same time, was won by J. A. M.' Stevens 70-12-67, H. R. Gasson 82-13-69 beirig second, while in the B grade L. L. Forrest 90-24-66 was first, and A. E. Johnson 87-17-70 and W. T. Dobson 86-16-70 tied for second place. The following cards were handed in: — -
Mr Gerbes's trophy competed for last week and which resulted in a tie between W. Elwick, N. M. Smith and H. Templeton was won on the play-off by Elwick 93-24-69, Templeton 84-10-74 being second. Entries for the Barry Shield are now being taken.
