Nominations Dne Friday Hdrpe-owners and tralners are reminded that nominations for all events of the two days of the Hawke 's Bay Jockey • Club 's autumn meeting to be held on Saturday, May 8, and Wednesday, May 12 (Coronation Day), will close with the secretary, Mr. A. E. Wiishart, on Friday, April 23, at 8 p.m. The programme is the best that has been put before owners for several yeaTS, and the response should be re* cord nominations, The Hawke's Bay Cup, is this year worth £300, including a gold cup worth £50, while the Coronation Cup Haudieap is worth £225, also including a haudsome cup. The elqb's late popular secretary, Mr. H. S. Moss, conclqded his official association with the club -with a highly Kqccossful meeting, and it is to bo hoped that the incoming secretary, Mr, A. E. Wishart, will commence his term of offiee with a meeting which will be still more successful.
