HASTINGS COMPETITION Celtic had a runaway victory over M.A.C. in one of the curtain-raisers at Nelson Park, the final count being 33 to nil. Mr G. D. Gray refereed. Hastings H.S.O.B. had to exert themselves to defeat Haumoana 13-—0 at Nelson Park, the game being a good one. Mr W. McKennie refereed. Hastings and Havelock North etaged a very close game at the Higfh SchoOl, the Yillagers going under hy three points to nil. Mr H. Pluminer refereed.
