In connection with the shipping sitdown strike reported yestferday, the trouble later spread to the American Radio Telfegrfiphists ' AssOCiation, which declared a general strike ofi all vessels owned hy the International Mercantile Marine in United States ports. However, it was later eettled on an agreement to hold afi- election to detcrmine the proper bargaining agency. The election will be held soon, and the method will be determined at a cottference. All the ships affected by the strike will sail immediately.
