AIR RACE ABANDONED
Accidents Would Create Bad Impression (Received 17, ID.o a.m.) EARIS,' April 16. The Minister of Ai#, M. Got, ihformed the Aerb Club of Prance that the international ReW York-to-Paris air race has been abandoned owing to TJnited Statea opposition. Ameriea. urged the postponement on the grounds that accidents would create a bad impression on the eve of the opening of the trans-Atlantic commercial services.
