Miss Peggy Nankivell (Melbourne), with a score of 79, v>on the i'ounders' trophy at the inaugural meeting of the Ycsta Golfing Society, which was formed to provide facilities for women golfers from the Empire. ■ Miss Mabel Stringer, founder of the girls' championship, presentcd tiie trophy, which is a reuliea of the veslal lamp. It.will be competed for annually. Miss Nankivell's scoro was far ahead of the other competitors, who includcd Miss E. Kemp (New Zealand), with 104. The contest was held at Ranelagh.
