■ Good Scoring for Captain's Trophy The mid-week players scored well on Thursday in the captain's trophy competition and the medal match played in conjunction. The leading scores are as follow: —
The conditions of play for the trophy presented for competition by the captain, Mr C. H. Slater, have been altered. Three medal Tounds will still be playcd, but only two will count for the aggregate, enabling competitors to discard their worst score. The sixtoen lowest aggregate scorers over two rounds will tlien compete in handicap match play to determine the winner of the trophy.
