MR A. M. FAIRBROTHER
The death occurred at his residence io Latham street, Napier, yesterday morning of Mr Albert Williain Fairbr other. aged 44 years, husband of Mrs l1'. T. Fairbrother. The late Mr Fairbrother was born at Timaru and came to Napier 22 years ago, immediately being employed by Messrs Blythes Ltd., in later years being a\ buyer in the Manchester department. Since tlie earthquake in 1931 he had not been in the best of health, the end coming this morning after a long fight. His popularity had earned for him a wide circle of friends and his passing will be received with deep regret. To mourn their ioss besides his wife, are two children, Edward and June Fairbrother, and four brotliers and two sisters in the South Island. The deceased came from a well-known Canterbury football family, bia brother, Mr Douglas Fqirbrother, being in the final trials for the 1924 All Blacks. Requiem Mass was Celebrated at St. Patrick's Churcli, Napier this morning and the funeral took ' place this afternoon at Park Island cemetery.
