One of the jolliest dances of the season was that held in the Victoria Hall, Napier, under the auspices of the St. Patrick's Tennis Club. There was a large attendance, and the hosts and hostesses, the male and lady -members of the club, vied with each other in seeing that patrons spent a pleasant evening, the whole of the arrangemenls showing admirable. organisation. The music, floor and supper were all good, and all who assisted are entitled to share in the credit of what was a very auccessful dance,
