Plant all spring bulbs such as hyacinths, fulips, ranunculus anemones. If early blooms are wanted uo time can be lost. Remember, bone-dust is the only manure suitable for usiug .wljen planting bulbs. Prepare ground for the setting of giant gladioli, Japancse irjs and lilium bulhs, All these may be set from May fiU July and require well-dug and draiped soil. Bow the seed of the lollowing variety in boxes : Poppiea, stock, cineraria, nemesia, larkspur, carnations, Canterbury bells, verbena., calliopsis, hollyhock, antirrhinum. For borders and growing in clumps sow in open ground mignonette, Virgipian stock, dwarf nasturtium, elarkia, godetia, linaria and linuxn, Carefully stak© ekrysanthemums that are makibg growth. Dishud the plants if good blooms are required and spray to prevent rust with black leaf 40. Spent dahlia blooms should be out away if the plants are expected to continue flowering.. For quick flowering and to fill up while the seedlings are growing, plant antirrhinum, pansy, larkspur, primula and lobelia plants, Any of the above varietieg are now available. Ommence crftting back rose bushes to give them their required rest and ul6o fouk in bonedust and blood.
