Pope Pius, it was semi-ofdcially stated recently, has decided on the creation of an international acadcmy of science. It will be known as the Pontihcal Academy of Seience. The academy will be composed of eminent scientists in biology, mathematics, ehemistry, medicine, etc. They need not be Catholics, provided they are not anti-religious. Pope Pius will selfect the lirst seventy members, who will choose their successors. CardinaJ . Pacelli, Papal Secretary of State, is expected to have suggestions regarding Americans when he returns from t'hc United States
