Wellington Extensions Advice has been received 'that plans are being prepared for a large addition to Messrs J. K. McKenzie, Ltd., distributing store, Willis street, Wellington. The addition now planned wiU complete the well-known McKenzie block in Upper Willis street. The completed premises will have an imposing frontage to Willis street of 80 feet and will be completely five-stor(?y. Over 61,000 square feet of store space will be available in the block, and all floors will be served by three modern high speed electric lifts. Tho present building, although having a frontage of 40 feet with a depth of 160 feet, and rising ffive itoreys, has been found inadequate to leal with the increasing volume of usiness.
