A message from Hartford (Connecticut) says that insurance companies have announced claims aggregating nearly 1,000,000 dollars flled as a result of sitdown etrikes under the riot and civil clauses in the policies. They indicated tHey would probably pay hut would specifically eliminate sit-down strikes from future policies. It is learned that the General Motors claim has already exceeded 200,000 dollars.
