Methodist Club's Annual Meeting The annual meeting of the Methodist Badminton Olub was held last week, the Eev. R. B- Gosnell presiding over a giood attendance. The annual report showed that the past season had been a successful and enjoyable one. Five inter-club matches hqd been played, resulting in three wins and two losses, tlie latter being against the Hastings and Napier clubs. Sucqess was also achieved by club members iu the provincial charnpionships, A vote of thanks was earried to the xetiring officers aud the following were elected for the present season President, Rev. R. B. Gosnell; captain, Mr H. Garland ; vice-captain, Mr O. Rowlands; secretary, Miss D. Bott; treasurer, Mr G. Spurdle; club committee, Misses M. Fear and L. Lancaster; Messrs L. Mayo and W. McKay; selection committee, Miss L. Lancaster. Messrs H- Garland and O. Rowlands ; delegates to association, Messrs H. Garland and C. Rowlands. The season promiscs to be a vory successful qne qnd will be opened offioially by the president on Thut'sday evening, at 7 o'clock, when members and intending members will be heartily wclcomod.
