PINK & WHITE SCHEME AT HAVELOCK WEDDING

STRUTHERS — GALYER Th6 wedding was celebrated at St. Luke's Church, Havelock North, rocently of Ngira Gwendoline, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs A. J. Galyer, of Mangatahi, and John Richard, eldest son of Mr and Mrs A. Struthers, of Claremont, Hastings. The Rev, Weymouth officiated at the weddipg. Mr Galyer escorted his daughter intq: chiurch and she made" a pretty -picture in her briAul gown of magndlia embossed satin fashioned on classical lines. . The bodice was ornamented with a spray of orange blossoms. From- a circlet of orange blassoms the soft tulle veil was arranged and she carried a bouquet of creamy roses, dahlias, caraations and maidenhair ferns, The bridesmaids were the Misses A. Yennel, 0f Masterton, and Joan Wyatl. Their gowns were composed of pink drawn thread organdie, the bodices having high necklines, shirred back and front and eaught with a diamante clip. They wore slioes in the same colour and halo hair bands of natural flowers, and carried bouquets of pink roses and maidenhair ferns. Miss Margaret Heaton made a pretty flower girl in. a long frock of white drawn thread organdie, with very full skirt and puffed sleeves, and she wore flowers in her hair. Mr Douglas Struthers ably carried out the duties of best man and Mr Colih Galyer was groomsman. Following the ceremony a reception was held at "Claremont," the home of the bridegroom's parents, where the guests were reeeived by Mr and Mrs , Galyer and Mr and Mrs Struthers. Mrs Galyer (bride' s motlier) wore a smart frock of black silk marccain, spotted with red, black coatee and black hat with spray of red flowers and carried a bouquet of red flowers and ferns. Mrs Struthers (bridegroom's motlier), in a model gown of black figured marocain, black three quartcr eoat and blac.k hat, and her bouquet was of flowers to tone. Later Mr and Mrs J. R. Struthers left by car for the honeymoon, which
