SUPPLY OF POWER POLES
H.B. Board's Difliculty The difficulty being experienced. by the Hawke's Bay Electrio Power Board in getting supplies of poleg from Newcastle may necessitate the secre-tary-manager, Mr H. H. Wylie, taking a trip to Australia to look inta the matter and try to arrange for more prompt shipments. The matter is to be considered further at the anuual meethig of the board next month. Beference to the shortage ofpoles was made at yesterday's meeting by Mr M. S. ' I heartily support this suggestion,'' sair Mr Harding. "We have a number of consumers waiting already to be serriced; and I think we should do all tVe can to have a ' plentiful supply of poles always ■ on* hand."
