New Appointment Forces By-EIection RUGBY, April 11. The appointment of Mr. Lawrence Lumley, M.P., to ' succeed Lord Brabourne as Governor of Bombay necessitates a by-electioa for the representation of York. Since 1935 he had served as Parliamentary private secretary to Mr. Anthony Eden. Mr. Lumley is a nephew and heir to Lord Scarborough. At the last election the figures were. L. R. Facial Eczema A fresh .outbreak of the disease known as facial eczema has occurred among sheep on the flat country round Gisborne. In one flock nearly ten per cent. are reported to be affected, but in other docks only small numbers havo ■ shown the symptoms. — Gisborne.
