WELLINGTON, Last Night. The influenza germ was responsible 'for the final fall in the wrestling match between Tom Meade and Gordon McKenzie (Wellington) to-night. Haviing gained the deciding fall Meade lcollapsed in the dressing room and was taken to hospital suffering severely from influenza. He was closely f ollowed by McKenzie who had received a deep gash above the left eye. Early in the match McKenzie refused to heed the referee 's warnings for using strangleholds and Meade was awarded a penajty fall in the second round. iMisjudging a flying tackle in the fourtli ' round Meade shot through the ropes and returned shakily .to be pinned easily. The deciding fall came quickly in the sixth round after Meade had made McKenzie groggy with a serie's of flying tackles.
