"I hope that when the work is doue, it will be done properly, and that the corners will be taken right back," said Mr E. Harding at yesterday 's meeting of the Hawke's Bay County Council, when referring to a proposal to prepar6 plans for improvements to the Have-lock-Waimarama road. "I hope that the work will not be done like it was on the Paekakariki h«lj," he addcd. ''After that road was sealed corners wero taken back with the result that certain sealed sections were put down for notliing. When our work is done, I hope it will be on permanent liues." ^
