TRY THIS RECIPE
Green Tomato Jam IngrOdionis: 47b. green tomatoes. 2 lemons. - 1 oz. bruised ginger. 4lb. sugar. Method: Cut the tomatoes in lialves and put iuto a proserving pan; add the rinds of the lemons and the ginger tied in a piece of muslin. Gently siminer until the tomatoes are tender, tben add the kugar and bring to the boil. Stir and boil quic-kly for half an hour or until a little will set.on a cold plate, remove the ginger then pot and cover.
