The Government forces having deployed fanwiee into the western outskirts of Madrid resumed the offensive against the rebels who were cut off from their base in Casa del Campo. It is estimated there are 10,000 insurgents ijn the shattered ruins of the students' hostels. The loyalists claim further successes south of Madrid.
