St. John's Cathedral Service Large congreg^tions attended the harvest thanksgiving services at St. John's Cathedral, Napier, yesterday. The prea^her in the morning was Dean Erocklehurst and in the evening the Rev. S. R. Gardiner, of St. Augustine's. Appropriate harvest hymns were sung and the anthems "O Lord How Manifold Are Thy Works" and "Praise the Lord - of Harvest" ,were beautifully rendered by the choir. The church decorations preeented a very bright scene with its array of fruit, flowers, vegetables and general produce, which was afterwards sent to •the homes* (St. Mary's, St. Hilda's and Abbotsford) for distribution.
