Central Hawke's Bay Meeting WAIPUKURAU, April 10, The annual meeting of the Central Hawke's Bay Basketball Association was held last. night, Mrs T. H. Roach presiding over a fair attendance. The secretary, Miss E. Moore, presented a full and comprehensive report on the Association ;s activities. The annual balance-sheet showed a credit of 5s 6d in spite of an expenditute of £104 last year. * The following officars were elected: — Patroness, Miss E. Gray; president, Mrs T. H. Roach (re-eiected) ; vice-presi-dents, Mrs J. 8. Macdougal 1, Misses M. Macdonald, L. Hale, L Farrelly, and
jxlt v . jrarsons; secreiary anu ireasurer,Miss S. Wedd; trustee, Miss E. Moore; referees' representative, Miss M. Macdonald; selectors, Mrs T. H. Roach, Misses M. Macdonald and D. Marf ell; delegates to Hawke's Bay Basketball Association, Misses M. Moore and S. Wedd; executive, captains of teams. Miss E. Gray was appointed to arrange the flxtures. A vote of thanks was passed to Mrs J. Collins for ehaperoning the representative team to the Rotorua open tournament last August. Games are to commence on April 24.
