AUCKLAND, Jtast Night. The eecond stage of her return flight from Auckland Co San Francisco waa completed to-day by the Pan-American survey clipper when she landed at approximately 4.S6 in the afterpoon (New Zealand time). The clipper took ofE at 5.16 a.m. and at 4.20 p 'cjock in the aftemoon a wireless messag© was receiyed in Auckland which stated that Kmgman reef had been sighted. No furfher messages were received from the clipper but she would land about ten minutes af ter the final mes>ege was seut.
