INGALL—DEVONPORT
A quiet and pretty wedding was celebrated at the home of Mrs and Mrs T. Devonport, Clifford street, Gisborne, on Wednesday last, when their 'daughter, Mation Elizabeth, was married to Lenard John, son of Mr and Mrs R. Ingoe, of Wairoa. The Rev. ' Mr Dow officiated. . The bride made a charming figure as she entered the breakfast room with her father, attired in a dainty frock of white self-striped crepe de chene cut on classical lines, with white picture hat, gloves, hose and shoes to tono. She carried a beautiful bouquet of white roses, carnations and fern, held in place with a pale pink tulle bow and ribbon streamers. Her' sister, Miss Cora Devonport, attended the bride, wearing white society crepe, picture hat, gloves, hose and shoes to tone. She carried a dainty bouquet of whitq flowers. Mr J. Devonport performed the ditties of best man, and after the ceremony the guests adjourned to the sitting room, where the wedding breakfast was served and the usual toasts were honoured. Mrs Devonport, mother of the bride, received her guests wearing a smartly modelled frock of figured black crepe. Mrs lngoe, the bridegroom 's mother, looked smart in a brown satin beaute, triniuied with fawn. Miss Flo Ingoe, sister of the bridegroom, wore a smart apple green ensemble. . Later in the afternoon the newlymarried couple left amid showers of confetti for the south, where the honeymoon will be spent, the bride travelling in a tailored costume with accessories to match.
