RIFLE SHOOTING
Haumoana Miniature Club The Haumoana Miniature Rifle Club held the first shoot of the 1937 season on Wednesday evening. There was a large attendance of members and the new type of six-bull targets, whieh originated within the club proved to he an unqualified suceess. Quite a large number of new members were present, and when all have had more practice on the metric target the standard of shooting will no doubt improve. The dropped-points handicapping system is to be used this season and the first shoot for the first trophy will take place next Wednesday.
