TIMARU , Last Night. The Town Clerk of Geraldine, Mr Lionel F. Grimstone, aged 65, has not been seen since Saturday morning, wlien he boarded the 8.40 train at Orari fpr Ashburton, and fears are entertaiiied for his safety. Before his appointment to Geraldine, Mr Grimstone was town clerk at 1 Motueka, and prior to that was at Uppei HutU His wife and tbree daughtera residb ^ in Wellington.
