MR. BENJAMIN JACOB

Mr Benjamin Jacob aged 78 years, of Waiprikurau, died in the Waipukurau Hospital on April 2. Mr Jacob came to New. Zealand from England when a young in&ri,- Workifig as gardener for th© late Canon Willians, and then for Mr T. H. Lowry. For the five years ended 1930 he was head gardener at the Ptikeora Sariatoririm, and subsequently was employed by Mr J. D. Ormond. Mr Jacob was a man of fine character arid his death will be greatly regretted by many friends in HaWke's Bay. He; never married and has no relatives in New Zealand.
