New Officers Elected At tlie annual mfeeting of the Napier Basketball Associ&tioii beld last eVening, Mr H. Sergent was re-elected president This is only the second time that, a president of the association has been elected for two conseeutive years, and Mr Sergent, in thanking those present. for his re-election, stated that is was most gratifying, especially in view of the fact that he had been a newcomer to the spart the first year ot hie election. Th© reniainxng officers elected were as follow : vice-presidefitS, Mrs C. Clai'k, Mr Berry; secretary, Miss P. Flan; treasurer, Miss E. Clark ; secondary schoolsc representative, Miss K. Thorpe ; senior player, Miss N. O'Keefe; jxlnior player, Miss M. Haytor; non-players, Miss D. Horsefield, Mr C. Kendall; auditor, Mr J. W. Callaghan. At the conclusion of the meeting Miss E. Bryon, the retiring treasurer &nd assistant secretary, Was elected a lifemember on account, of her splendid swyloin
