Lady Houston's will teveals that Bhe left United Kingdom estate worth the surprisingly low total Of £1,528,083 on which duty of £690,921 will be paid. The will leavea everything to Miss Juliana Hoare, a former intimate friend and an aunt of Sir Samuel Hoare, "to do with as she, in the great gOodness of her heart, thinks best." Letters of administration of the eState with this will annexed have been granted to Lady Houston's sister, Florence Wrey. Miss Hoare predeceased Lady Houston, so the will is invalid. The will was made in 1930 and left her whole fortune to Miss Hoare. It was stated that if no other will was fouud, the estate would be divided amOng surviving relatives. Miss Hoare secretly distributed large sums on behalf of Lady Houston, which is the reason why her fortune is smaller than was anticipated.
