H.B. CHILDREN'S HOME
Donations Acknowledged The recent request by the trustees of the Hawke's Bay Children 'a Home for further donations has brought the response as set out below, and the trustees wish to thank these donors for their support. The home is still very far short of the amount aimed at, and additional donations from other sympathisers would be appreciated. An attempt has been made to appeal to all the residents of the provincial district of Hawke's Bay, and it may be pointed out that the children that are in the home come from all parts of the province. The home is open to any orphaned, neglected or destitute child of the district, and the appeal is so that the trustees will have in hand sufficient funds to enable them to deal with all applications for admission that come before them. Additional donations will be acknowledged in these columns.
