TAKAPAU CLUB

The Takapau Defence Rifle Club fired their weekly shoot on the Brookwood range, the competition being the fourth roqnd for the Lowes Cup and Mr W. Edgecombe % trophy, 10 rounds at 800 and 9Q0 yards, standard 91. Rain and a tricky wind interfered with shooting at 900 yards range, which was fired in a drizzle. Mr Edgecombe 's trophy was won by G. Jackson on the count back, and Mr O. H. Bjorngaard's buttons were won by Riflemen G. Jackson and A. f dwards. Results were as follow: — •
