H.B. PILOT INSTRUCTOR
Flight-Lieutenant Rawnsley to Leaye WELLINGTON POSITION The appointment of Flight-Lieuten-ant A. I. Rawnsley, Hawke's Bay and East Coast Aero Club instructor, as chief instructor to the Wellington Aero Club and officer-in-charge of the Wellington aerodrome has been announced. Mr Rawnsley, who replaces FlightLieutenant Stedman, who has accepted an appointment with the Canterbury Aero Club, takes up his new duties on 6
May 1. He came to Hastings in November, 1935, filling the vacaney caused by the resignation of Flight-Lieutenant G. Gerrand, and he has proved a zaalous and efficient officer of the club. His departure will be regretted by aU associated with the club, particularly iiis many pupils and ex-pupils, for they have found him a first-class instructor. The club is now comsidering varlous ,applications for instructoi's and an announcement is expected in the Jiear future.
