Crack Polo Teams Meet at Christchurch

CHBISTOHURCH, Last Night, Two of the best teams in thoj Dominion will compete in the New Zea-! land Polo Association 7s match for thei Saville Cup, which is to be held to-j morrow afternoon. The two teams, Cambridge (Waikato) and Christchurch] A, have both held the trophy and bothj have dismissed their opponents in the; first round of play with equal ease. Christohurch A held the cup in 1927' and 1928, since when the fceam has not competed, but the standard of theirj play is considered by polo eiitics to bej as sound as ever and to-morrow 7sj match against the present holders,Cambridge A,.is expected to be closa' with the chances of neither team being i favoured. The Christchurch team has| a reputation for experieuced and tac-i tical play, but the northern team willj ' have the advantage of thoroughbred: and fast horses and are fresh from a series of suecesses in the North Island. The teams are: — Cambridge: E. Nolan, 1; C. G. Vosper,. 2 (captain); K. N. Peake, 3; E. C. Peake, 4; emergency, L. E. Kay. Christchurch A: G. H. Grigg, 1; B. D. Johnson, 2; Major G. F. Hutton, 3; D, W. J. Gould, 4 (captain); emergeneies, E. B. Johnson and G. Hennessy.
