Falling Ofi in Civil Business A substantial falling ofi; in the civil business is the main feature of the quarterly returns of the Hastings Court compared with the figures for the corresponding period last year. This is eaused by the restrictionB placed on court transaetions under the Mortgagers and Lessees Behabilitation At. The same legislation, however, was also. responsible for the raising of the Oourt of Beview fees from 5/- to £130 6/-, all applications for .relief costing 5/- each.
