HAWERA, This Day. Owing to a further suspected case of infantile paralysis in the district, a seven-year-old boy, the Normfindy School has . beefi closed. Of tlie norma] roll o.f , 124 tlie- attendance had dropped to 40 when the first case was reported, but yesterday, when pareuts yeard of the second case the number dwlndled so rapidly that tho hOadmaster deelared the school closed for the rest of the day. Subsequently, the district . medieal officer ordered the closing of the school until further notice.
