It was decided to communicate wit-h the education authorities . inquiring whether the local schools should be closed, and to take steps to , prevent tangis on the Coast. Mucfi alarm was felt at the bringjing of a case from such a distauce to Opotiki in which district, the disease had been entirely absent.
