CHEISTCHUECH, This Day. The annual conference of the New Zealand Federation of Drapers, Clothiers and Boot Eetailers opened this morning. The remits cover a wide range, many dealing with . various aspect^ of recent legislation. One proposal to be discussed is that all members close their establishments during Christmas and New Year for the annual staff holidays, thus ensuring full working staffs throughout the year.
