TAKAPAIJ, This Day. A committee meeting of the Takapau , Sheep Dog Trial Club was held on Friday night, when there was a good attendance presided over by Mr. N. M. Tilley. The programme as. drawn up by the eub-committee was submitted, and with a few extra cups and special trophies donated, it should be oue of the best programmes drawn up by the club and prove most attractive. As a try-out for this year, it has been decided to mn ofE tho shorthead first, following with tho longhead and then the huntaway. In conjunction with the trial, the Takapau Farmers ' TJnipn will again hold a hogget fair on the second day (Wednesday). This show last year proved most interesting and beneficial to young farmers, and it is hoped the farmers 'in the district will lend their help. Mr. John Anderson, Kurow, who had been " appointed jndge for the North Island Sheep Dog Trials at Masterton, is going Home, and will be nnable to act in that capacity. Mr. Colin Tfcom has boen apopinted in his stead.
